First thing you need to know about me: I don’t take myself too seriously.
If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m an eclectic mix of Catherine Tate’s Nan, the Grinch, and Chidi Anagonye from The Good Place.
Why, you ask? Well, I did say eclectic!
I have the capacity to be a cantankerous old woman who loves a well-placed F-bomb, I hide in a cave away from people, and I often have a constant anxiety-driven stomach ache. Such fun! I know — I sound like a hoot to be around! (And, honestly, I like to think I am.)
But here’s the thing — these characters actually have a lot in common. Underneath their quirks, they care deeply about people in their own way. They learn from their mistakes and genuinely want to make the universe a better place. I’d like to think I’m that kind of person, too.
I have over 10 years of experience within the system of Usui Reiki Ryoho. Alongside Reiki, I’ve also studied Crystal Healing and Sound Healing — practices I sometimes weave into my sessions when it feels right, creating a holistic and personalized approach to energy work.
My fascination with energy healing started young — any pocket money or birthday gifts were usually spent on (you guessed it) crystals. Even then, I felt drawn to their energy and the idea that there was something deeper happening beneath the surface of life.
In 2015, I answered a higher calling when I began my Reiki journey, studying the Shoden level (Level 1). It was a moment of profound recognition — like coming home to my soul and realizing the oneness that connects us all. Since then, I’ve gained my Okuden (Level 2) and Shinpiden (Level 3) qualifications, enabling me to teach and pass on this incredible gift.
Receiving my Master Level empowerment was a turning point. I realized that the system of Usui Reiki Ryoho goes far beyond hands-on healing. It’s a path of self-empowerment, self-realization, and enlightenment. My practice remains rooted in these authentic teachings, and I carry the wisdom of my lineage forward with deep respect and integrity.
My work is also influenced by my study of Hermetic philosophy, which gives me a broader perspective on the mind-body-spirit connection. This understanding allows me to support both my own healing journey and the healing of others on a much deeper level.
I’m also a proud husband, foster parent, son, and brother. My life has taken so many beautiful twists and turns since I started this journey, and I feel incredibly blessed to share both this wonderful life and the transformative power of Reiki with you.
If you’d like to book a session, learn Reiki, or even just chat over tea and biscuits, I’d love to hear from you.
